Schedule: Rotating 12 hours swing shift, 4 days on and 4 days off, / 4 nighs on and 4 nights off, including overtime and weekends.
Job Summary: Operates, inspects, and conducts maintenance activities on equipment related to the paddy separation (rough rice removal from brown rice) to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly, is well maintained, and product is within specification/requirement. Operating domestic brown rice system (paddy, sorters, scale). Maintaining quality (package quality brown rice, paddy/brown rice and return percentage). Greasing of equipment and inspection of equipment. Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of the White Rice Mill paddy tables equipment and areas (north area of 2nd floor). Dry cleaning using Compressed air and sweeping of equipment and structures of the area(s) on a defined frequency. Participate in cleanout of other equipment (screws, elevators, screening equipment, and roof-when required). Responsible for completing and maintain records for production and monitoring records (magnet inspections, enrichment logs, production records), maintenance records, sanitation records.
Basic Qualifications:- Must possess basic math skills
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language fluently.
- Must possess good communication skills
- Must be possess good computer skills
- Must be willing and able to perform physical duties (included but not limited to):
- Climbing up to 40 feet.
- Liftting up to 100 lbs.
- Bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
- Work in high temperatures for periods of time
- Stand and walk for long periods of time
